A concept for beer series that blends horror and americana.
Design Approach
Using photo collage, I created original versions of iconic movie monsters, experimenting with various techniques and layering effects to produce a quirky and visually engaging cast. By choosing to reinvent well-known characters from beloved horror series, I enjoyed blending and "monster-mashing" different elements to form unique character collages that pay homage while offering a fresh perspective.

This creative process not only allowed me to explore and experiment but also challenged me to balance nostalgia with new techniques. The resulting characters invite viewers to reconsider familiar monsters in a playful and unexpected way, making the horror genre feel accessible and fun. Through this work, I aimed to celebrate the cultural impact of these icons while pushing the boundaries of traditional collage art.
What's the aim?
To create a beer series that embodies the sense of connection.

The beer series draws inspiration from both classic horror and the American dream, combining elements of vintage horror novel typography and iconic monster characters. This unique approach results in a collection that humanizes figures originally created to frighten, flipping the script to present them as the kind of characters you might actually want to share a beer with at a backyard barbeque.
Mobile Ads
With the monsters having a fun backyard barbeque as the focal point, I used them as they appear in the can design within some playful motion graphics, blending spooky noises with the sounds of summer.

The combination creates an intriguing set of mobile videos designed to attract attention to the brewery and highlight their summer drinks. The lively and whimsical approach not only highlights the unique character of the beer series but also engages the audience by evoking both spooky and seasonal vibes.
